After much deliberation, we have decided to end our in-network participation with all insurance companies. We WILL still accept AND file on your dental insurance, however, we will be considered an out-of-network provider.
What does this mean for your child?
We have always maintained a high standard of care for our patients, however, in the current environment of managed healthcare, many insurance companies are adding more and more stipulations, restrictions and limitations to their subscribers. They are also reducing our fees by 40-60%. It has reached the point where it is impossible for us to offer the same high-quality dentistry that our patients deserve, and we are unwilling to compromise our patient’s dental care or cut corners because of insurance company rules. So, rather than lower the standards that we have maintained for years, we have chosen to eliminate our preferred status with all insurance companies.
Upon notifying the insurance companies that we are resigning from in-network participation, they have begun sending out letters to policy holders. These letters are very intimidating, misleading, and confusing and have left some policy holders thinking that they must find another dentist. This is NOT true. You have the right to choose your child’s dental provider!
We appreciate your loyalty and hope that this has only a positive impact on your child’s dental care.
***This does NOT affect Texas Medicaid and CHIP*** We will remain providers for MCNA and DentaQuest.
Welcome Back! While many things have changed recently, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your child’s safety. Our infection control processes are designed so that when your child receives care, it is both safe and comfortable.
We realize that many of these measures may be inconvenient, and appreciate you patience and understanding during this time.
Due to the creation of dental aerosol in our office, everyone (age 2 and over) entering the office must wear a face covering or mask.
You will be required to answer several COVID-19 screening questions when you arrive to our office.
In the 14 days prior to your child's appointment, if anyone in your household has been experiencing cough, fever, sore throat, shortness of breath, or had direct contact with anyone testing positive for Covid-19, please call our office to reschedule.
Only the patient(s) with an appointment and one parent or guardian is allowed inside the office.
